Renovation of Project Gabriël started last week

Health Invest started last week in the Centre of Nivelles, on the corner of Place Emile Delalieux and Rue Saint George, with the demolition of the entire interior of an old building that will be rebuilt and completely modernized within the coming months.

After renovation – with durable materials of superior quality – “Residence Gabriel” will consist of various, modern apartments with one and two bedrooms and a terrace or balcony. The larger units will have a floor area of about 100 m²; the smaller ones will encompass 70 m². The apartments will be spread over two floors. On the ground floor two commercial units with a total surface of 350 m² will be available for shops in different sectors.

Health Invest will bring the flats after renovation on the market at competitive prices. More information can be found on this site under the heading of “projects/residential”.

Demolition of Le Corso Mons

The demolition work of The Corso is scheduled for completion in the third week of April.

Gabriel and Corso, projects with ambition

Health Invest to start construction on two ambitious projects in Wallonia in March 2015

Project developer Health Invest has completed the financing for two small-scale but ambitious projects in Wallonia. A dated residential and shopping complex in Nivelles – Residence Gabriel – is to be comprehensively upgraded, while in Mons the former Le Corso cinema is to be converted into a residential complex with 17 luxury apartments. The building permits for both projects were obtained last year, and Health Invest will start construction in March.

Residence Gabriel is in the centre of Nivelles on the corner of Place Emile Delalieux and Rue Saint George. The town has become an excellent housing alternative for people working in the relatively expensive Brussels conglomeration.

Once the renovations – using sustainable high-quality materials – are completed, Residence Gabriel will consist of six apartments and two shops on the ground floor. The larger apartments will be around 100 m² and the smaller ones 70 m2, all with a balcony and/or terrace.

The apartments are divided over two floors.  The two commercial units on the ground floor are a total of 350 m2 in size, and are perfectly suited for shops catering to a variety of sectors. After renovations are completed Health Invest will market the residential units at very competitive prices, starting at 162.700 euros.

The Le Corso project arose when the city of Mons and developer Health Invest expressed a desire to create a new and harmonious residential space in the centre of the historic city. Le Corso was once a renowned cinema in the heart of the city until it was repurposed.

PROJECT ‘LE CORSO’

Health Invest will create 19 residential units where the old cinema hall stood, all of high architectural quality, giving occupants the opportunity to live in luxury surroundings in the centre of Mons. The architectural plan sees the units located on the site of the Corso and consists of 19 different residences, ranging from studio flats to one, two and three bedroom apartments. The size of the apartments ranges from 57 to 140 m².

This diversity caters to the demand in the city for a range of accommodation types, creating the greatest number of opportunities and satisfying the present standards in terms of energy quality. Fourteen parking spaces finish the project off. The rear side of the units is open, so as to enjoy the excellent location and views of the enclosed garden. Each apartment is perfectly finished and equipped with everything that a modern household might want and desire.

The most significant characteristic of the project is the presence of a great deal of vegetation on each floor, and of the large green-filled patio within the apartment complex. Prices start at 161.460 euros.

Beherman Group launches PURE M

At the Realty fair in Brussels on Thursday 15 May, the Beherman Group presented a plan for the development of an office complex in Mechelen, which is to become the key project for a very large-scale urban renewal operation in this quickly expanding Flemish city.

The intention is to fully regenerate the Mechelen train station area and its immediate surroundings. The Beherman Group holds 14 hectares of land in the area which is locally known as the Ragheno Park. On this land an entirely new, modern and sustainably built residential-business district will be erected. The Pure M project presented last week, an office building in three segments with underlying parking facilities, is the first one to be developed and built by the Group. This project involves a budget of about €40 million. Olivier Beherman, director/owner of the development firm Health Invest, will be in charge of the project development.

Skidôme officially reopened its doors on 19 January 2013

The Skidôme winter sports centre in Terneuzen was officially re-launched on 19 January 2013 when Terneuzen mayor Jan Lonink formally reopened the complex. Skidôme has been run since October 2012 by the Dutch businessman Nicky Broos, who has also manages a winter sports centre in Rucphen since decades.

The owner used the summer months to find a smart and experienced operator, with Broos turning out to be the perfect match. Broos took on the task in October and attempted to get the centre up and running once more by the autumn. Initial results were so good (with 35,000 visitors) that the official re-launch in January became a matter of course. Broos believes it is not impossible to boost attendance figures at the Terneuzen centre to a quarter of a million visitors a year in due course. To do that he will have to focus on the Belgian market in particular.

Nike 6.0 Snow Fun Park from now on Skidôme

For us the quality of snow so important that we produce snow using a special process. Nike just wants the best, that’s why they have chosen us for the first Nike 6.0 fun park in the Netherlands and Belgium. You can make a descent on the 22 meter long slope starting with a healing rate of 28%. And you can practice jumping on a unique Nike 6.0 Funpark.

Large companies discover Skidôme

The indoor ski slope was opened in July 2008. After two years the number of visitors continues to increase considerably. Meanwhile more and more companies discover Skidôme as the conference room of Zealand. Many regional companies have opted for Skidôme as their conference and event venue.

Multinationals such as Belgacom, Dow Chemical, Yara, ski and snowboard manufacturers and wholesalers, Red Bull, Heineken, Unilever and other major concerns have now chosen Skidôme for their events.

New start for wintersportcenter Terneuzen

The Terneuzen ski slope will be off to a fresh start on 1 October 2012 under the name Skidôme Terneuzen. The Rucphen businessman Nicky Broos, owner of Skidôme snow amusement park, will not only revive the ski slope but also the restaurant facilities.

Zealand Alp
While the Skidôme snow amusement park features the highly popular Café-Restaurant de Nederlandse Alp (Dutch Mountain restaurant), the Café-Restaurant de Zeeuwse Alp Zealand version is now set to be launched in Terneuzen. As of 01 October everyone will be welcome to take a break from skiing and snowboarding in the restaurant and have a bite and a drink in the wintry atmosphere. You’re always welcome to discover the affordable quality and customer-oriented service that takes pride of place in the Zeeuwse Alp.

Ski slopes and pass-holders
As of 01 October the snow will once again be falling in Terneuzen. Skidôme Terneuzen has a large ski slope, a small one and a fun park. Snowbase pass-holders who lost out can still use their passes to enjoy all the snow facilities until the end of December.
